Bishop Louis Reicher has a 100% graduation rate each year, and 100% of our students are college bound. Students go to Yale, Auburn University, Baylor University, Texas A&M University, University of Texas, United States Military Academy, Southern Methodist University. University of Dallas, to name a few.
Over 6500 hours of community service is completed by our high school students every year. Bishop Reicher believes service in the community, parish, and home is a vital part of a student’s education and believes that learning and service are connected to each student's intellectual and moral development. Students in PreK-3 through 8th grade also participate in some community service projects each year.
Over 85% of our middle and high school students participate in one or more of our 13 sports team.
Bishop Reicher intentionally provides small class sizes and a low student-teacher ratio. Research shows that students in smaller classes perform better in all subjects and on all assessments than their peers in larger classes. Furthermore, students in smaller class sizes tend to be as much as one to two months ahead in content knowledge, and they score higher on standardized assessments. These positive effects of small class sizes are strongest for elementary school students, and they become more powerful and enduring the longer students are in smaller classes. That is, students who have smaller classes in early elementary grades continue to benefit from this experience even if they are in larger classes in upper elementary or middle school (Bruhwiler & Blatchford, 2011; Chingos, 2013).
We have 347 students enrolled in PreK-3 through 12th grade.
We offer over 30 honors, advanced placement, and dual credit courses each year.
Over $500,000 is awarded each year in financial assistance to deserving families who are otherwise unable to pay for their child(ren) to attend our school.
In 2019-20, 1 student received the National Merit Scholarship Program Letter of Commendation.
