At Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School, technology is used thoughtfully and purposefully to support instruction, strengthen communication, and prepare students for an increasingly digital world. We believe technology should enhance—not replace—the important relationship between teachers and students.

Beginning in Middle School, students use Google Classroom and Google Workspace for Education to access assignments, organize coursework, collaborate with classmates, and communicate with teachers. These tools allow students to work more efficiently while helping teachers provide timely feedback and share instructional resources.

Seventh-grade students also complete a one-semester Computer Literacy elective. The course introduces students to essential computer skills, digital organization, the history and development of technology, and programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. When time allows, students may also complete a creative technology project, such as producing a short film.

Throughout High School, students continue developing the technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and responsible digital habits needed for college, the workplace, and everyday life. Our goal is to help students become confident and adaptable users of technology who approach digital tools with creativity, collaboration, good judgment, and respect for others.

Through technology instruction and classroom integration, students learn to:
