    • Virtue Formation

At Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School, we partner with families to help students grow in virtue and become faithful disciples of Christ. Through the Education in Virtue program, developed by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, students are introduced to a way of life rooted in faith, hope, charity, prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance.

Grounded in Catholic tradition and the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas, the program helps students understand what virtue means and how to practice it in everyday life. With a focus on 38 virtues, students learn to recognize and develop habits that lead to a meaningful, Christ-centered life.

    • How Virtue Formation Benefits Students

      Faith Formation
Students are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ and see virtue as part of living their Catholic faith.

      Character Building
Students develop integrity, self-discipline, responsibility, and a moral compass to guide their decisions.

      A Positive School Culture
Virtue is practiced throughout the school day, helping create a culture of respect, kindness, and accountability.

      Home and School Connection
Through clear definitions, virtue cards, and guided lessons, families can continue conversations about virtue at home.

      Forming Saints, Scholars, and Leaders
Virtue formation helps students grow not only academically, but spiritually and morally. Together with families, Bishop Reicher helps build a foundation of faith and character that prepares students to live with purpose in this life and eternal joy in the next.
